Queen Picks Visit To Chester As A Highlight Of 2018

The memorable visit to Chester by the Queen and Megan, the Duchess of Sussex, in June 2018 has been selected as one of her ‘best bits’ of the year and is featured in a video that has been Tweeted by the Royal Family.
The Queen, honouring Roodee Creative by wearing the same shade of green that we use in our logo, officially opened Storyhouse before having lunch at Chester Town Hall.
This was a significant visit as it was the first official engagement carried out with just Her Majesty and her new granddaughter-in-law – just a month after Prince Harry and Meghan tied the knot.
They were greeted by thousands of Cestrians who lined Northgate Street who obviously enjoyed it every bit as much as Her Majesty.
As we say goodbye to 2018 here’s a look at some of the most memorable moments of the year from The Queen’s engagements. Happy New Year! pic.twitter.com/IyWvPkUtwK
