For Difficult To Reach Locations
The time-lapse cameras that we use for special projects are ideal for observing the welfare of birds of prey during construction processes. They are independent of power, using solar energy, and are independent of Wifi as they use 3G / LTE data networks.
Remote time-lapse cameras for monitoring activity of birds of prey, such as peregrine falcons, can be installed on external surfaces close to nesting sites. The wide viewing angle also makes them suitable for positioning inside specialist bird boxes.
One of the main challenges for siting time-lapse cameras that do not have access to power and Wifi connectivity is in safely mounting the camera and any necessary solar panels.
We work with specialist metal fabricators to produce custom-made brackets and mounts that can be fitted to most surfaces, including brick and concrete.
