Today we have completed a major update to the website for a Chester-based business. Our client, a window, door and conservatory company, A1 Plastics Windows And Doors commissioned us to upgrade their website and include a fully updateable blog.
As we had designed the original website and it was built in a modular fashion, it was really quick and easy for us to expanded the window and conservatory gallery sections.

When we are asked to take an existing website, give it a good shake-up, a new look, and sort a few issues out, one of the first questions we’re asked is: how long will it take?
That of course depends on a number of factors, but we can usually say ‘as fast as you want it’. It all depends on how far you want us to go and how well your previous design company put your site together. We’ve given quite radical treatments to websites in 24 hours before now.
In the case of the latest website to blast off from ‘Roodee’s Re-launch Pad’ it was a little over four weeks.
Our client, a Chester based independent publishing company asked us to create a new concept and add their existing content to it. In addition, we added some of our real world marketing know how and the result is a modern, fresh design and a more comfortable user experience.
We didn’t forget what the main purpose of the website is either. It presents exactly the impression our client wants to communicate, showcases their products and services, and it makes it easy for web visitors who arrive on it from Google to make contact.
Chester radio station Dee 106.3 have been running a talent competition with a client of ours, Lampkin and Co Accident Claim Solicitors since 2009.
With only 1 week to go until voting starts, the last few remaining places for auditions are being snapped up.

Our clients have asked us to produce a website and system that will help provide a useful and money-saving service to individuals who have to deal with the legalities associated with family matters following divorce and separation.
We’re at the visual concept stage right now, where we show off all of our ideas including the way the site will look. We’ve also worked on how users will navigate through the site and how all the clever bits will work.
The site will have a two stage launch, with the fully functional version online in April 2010. Want to be notified when the site is live? We’ll Tweet it and link from our Facebook page.
We often sound a fanfare when we start a relationship with our web design clients, but it’s not everyday we show what goes on behind the scenes at Roodee, so, here’s a snap taken of some of our team at work on one of our soon to be released websites.
The site is for a major haulage company, based close to Chester, and here’s Simon directing a photo shoot with Liz, our amazing product photographer.
Our client is very proud of the huge fleet of lorries we were shooting, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. The photos, taken at the depot and next to Flintshire Bridge look stunning in the sunshine, as you’ll see when the site launches towards the end of September 2009.
The new website we designed for Burleydam Garden Centre, Wirral was judged by the Garden Centre Association to be second best in the UK.
