We were delighted to be commissioned once again to produce the website for Chester’s Dee 106.3 radio station. Version two picked up from where the last one left off. It has kept a number of the the most popular features, but has had a few new additions too.

The live audio stream, extending the radio stations reach, continues, and the audio and video downloads are there too. There’s a very nifty live traffic feature with a map of the region and traffic problems are highlighted on it. The traffic feature is intended for use by the listeners to te station, but on-air presenters will access it too.

The site’s Search Engine Optimisation has been boosted, and there’s a new search engine for the article archive section that will be extended across the entire site shortly.

The site already has analytics for tracking the high numbers of visitors, and repeat visits will be encouraged with the first of two RSS feeds that have been set in place at the time of launch. The first RSS feed lets subscribers keep track of competitions, promotions and general marketing announcements. The second RSS feed will be updated by the stations’ journalists with local news.

The site continues to benefit from Adobe Contribute content managment, and the presenters and staff are able to upload plenty of audio and video content.

We continue to be responsible for looking after the general look and feel of this site, and we think it’s obvious to say, we are extremeley proud to be entrusted to look after a great radio stations website.
